Aussie ex-pat Cidonie Richards wanted a luxe, modern design for her new venture, Threads & Ginger, a lifestyle blog featuring fashion and design in her new home of Shanghai. I followed a strong monochromatic palette with touches of bright yellow. A custom “mega menu” was designed to feature her main topics; two slideshows to highlight featured articles; and a customised RSS feed subscription for her followers.

I’ve always worked with designers face-to-face, so finding someone on the internet and on the other side of the world was going to be a big challenge. . . well this is what I first thought. I took a punt with Stephanie and she was everything I had hoped for and more. She understood my brief perfectly and really got my vision and my style from day one. Even from just a few emails she managed to design a new site from scratch which was better than I had imagined. She was very patient with me on all sorts of things like resizing images and my complications of working in China and answered every question I had clearly and quickly. I would highly recommend Stephanie to anyone wanting a re-design or new website. It was such a fun experience seeing my vision unfold with her expert design skills, I’m so glad I found her!
